RUSSIA – MIDDLE EAST, complexity

2001年起，俄罗斯开始支持伊朗核武器计划，并免去了叙利亚73%的债务。

俄罗斯 - 叙利亚

俄罗斯目前正在为叙利亚争取联合国席位，并提供军事装备给叙利亚对抗“伊拉克和大叙利亚伊斯兰国”（ ISIS）。

不过，俄罗斯却警告美国说美国在未经联合国安理会准许的情况下在叙利亚境内对ISIS发动空袭都是“挑衅行为”。然而，ISIS却威胁要将车臣从俄罗斯独立出来。

伊朗-叙利亚

伊朗军队在叙利亚活动频繁，目的是支持巴沙尔·阿萨德政府。

以色列则为叙利亚反政府武装提供医疗救治服务。

伊朗将派遣军队到叙利亚帮助从ISIS手中夺回伊拉克炼油厂。

俄罗斯-叙利亚

俄罗斯已经将先进的S-300地对空导弹，防空导弹系统出售给伊朗。

同时，俄罗斯也为伊朗提供技术、军事和外交援助。

石油、军事基地、军火市场和其他协议是中东对俄罗斯的最大吸引力。
